Stephen A. LeRoux is a member of the Maryland State Bar. He earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he took classes focusing on criminal defense and trial advocacy. With experience as a law student intern attorney with the Office of the Public Defender, he has handled DUI, Assault, Theft, and Possession cases.
Before joining the Law Offices of Alan L. Winik, LLC, he worked for a year as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge G. Edward Dwyer Jr., where he researched and wrote opinions in the areas of civil, criminal, foreclosure, and family law.
In 2011, Stephen became partner at LeRoux & Winik, LLC, where he handles felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, as well as domestic litigation.
As a member of the Frederick County Bar Association, he believes in community. As a law student, he volunteered with the O’Malley/Brown Transition Team, MBE/WBE Workgroup and currently volunteers with the Tuscarora High School Mock Trial team as their law coach. Stephen lives in downtown Frederick.
